Matija is the head of the public sector consulting department. In addition to leading the team, he is responsible for project team management, sales, and preparation of projects co-financed from EU funds, as well as for the development of new services and business models.
Matija has many years of experience in working with the private and public sectors in performing the most complex tasks of preparation, planning, implementation, and monitoring of projects for (co)financing from European Union funds and other international and national funding sources with a portfolio of projects with a total value of over 100 million euros.
He has relevant experience in consulting in the areas of increasing energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy sources in manufacturing industries and construction, as well as in the conceptualization and development of various development projects related to sustainable development, low-carbon industry, circular economy, energy efficiency, water, and waste management. He has experience in the business development of economic entities through consulting to implement environmental, social, and management (ESG) criteria and sustainable business development, as well as experience in the field of financial and economic analyses, business plans, investment studies, and feasibility studies.
In his work, he participated in the creation of national strategic documents, programs, and plans in the field of energy efficiency, and their operational implementation.
