Vjekoslav is an expert in the field of the implementation of projects co-financed from EU funds, especially in the field of procurement for those subject to and not subject to the Law on Public Procurement. He is responsible for managing the EU project implementation service in Apsolon and managing the implementation segment of the EU team.
In the Apsolon team, he is engaged in the implementation of a portfolio of projects worth more than 40 million euros, the largest part of which relates to infrastructure and research projects of entrepreneurs and the development of new services. He has 10 years of experience in the preparation, verification and implementation of projects, including experience in the EU Funds Management and Control System (SAFU, MRRFEU) where he was engaged in the implementation and control of public procurement procedures, project selection, payment implementation, budget planning and reporting and coordination of the preparation and implementation of a portfolio of projects in the amount of EUR 100 million.
In his work, he participated in the implementation and verification of projects from pre-accession funds (IPA) as well as projects from the 2nd generation of European structural and investment funds. He graduated from the Faculty of Law of J. J. Strossmayer University in Osijek, European Law module.
